Painting

We offer various types of paint in our class offering, such as acrylic, oil and watercolor painting.

Our classes explore styles of realism, abstract, impressionism, expressionism, surrealism.... and lots of other 'isms' as they emerge.

We work to customize artist support to fit our students and their interests. This strategy of student driven instruction design keeps our artists inspired, engaged, and excited.

Sculpture

We offer artists traditional air dry clay and polyform clay. We have a pottery wheel on-site to use upon request as well as a banding wheel.

Artists can learn basic pottery techniques including while they create their own sculptures. We support how to use different tools, vocabulary, and how to be successful with clay.

Makers Lab

Our studio is famous for the incredibly popular "Bulldogs" that dotted the streets of Irvington on public display. The creator of the bulldog gallery hosts one special maker class.

Makers get the opportunity to use all sorts of art materials creatively. Puzzling together a mix of media is fabulous in expanding creativity and problem solving.

Our maker type art class benefit artists with a fun variety of wood, paper, textile, foam and so much more.

The sky is the limit when you get to play and explore in DIY maker realm!

Essential drawing techniques and vocabulary can be developed while class may employ a wide range of drawing media such as charcoal, graphite, tortillon, and ink.
