Policy Statement, Cancellation and Terms of Service for Art XO Studio LLC (dba XO Lounge + Artcade):

All of or policies have been carefully adopted to allow our business to stay open in this wonderful community, our employees have jobs and security, and our patrons can enjoy the best possible experience. Thank you.

Contact & Business Hours  - The best time to reach us is between 12:00pm and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Email is the best way for us to keep a record of what we are working on with you. We will try to be available by phone if we are not with other artists. If you know a class is in session, please leave a message or email us.

Privacy Policy - Art XO Studio will not share any of your personal information with other individuals, companies, or any type of entity. 

​

Photo/Video Notice - As joyful events occur at the studio, like classes, camps, parties, open studio and in other instances, photography or video may record these moments. Art XO Studio/XO Lounge or other patrons may share on social post photos or video. By entering the studio, consent of photo/video release is implied. Consider this a public space for the intents and purposes of photography and video recording and sharing.

 

Liability Release - By registering in a class, camp, or workshop, you waive any and all liability against Art XO Studio/XO Lounge and its employees, owners, or affiliates for injury, illness, loss of property, or any other form of loss.

Code of Conduct - Art XO Studio/XO Lounge reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not behave in accordance with our Code of Conduct. Please read this document prior to registering for classes. Thank you.

General Refund/Credit Policy - We operate a small program with limited spaces. Once these spaces are full, it is very difficult to re-advertise and fill vacant seats. By registering for a class, camp, or event, you are taking the risk and responsibility of attendance. If you are not able to use that spot/seat, for any reason, we cannot offer refunds, credits or make-ups.

Class Refund Policy - We are unable to give refunds for missed classes for any reason. We do not offer make-up classes Please do not schedule a conflict during art class and as for a refund/credit.

 

Create Nights, Family Days, Workshops, Special Events – No refunds or credits are available for Create Nights, Family Days, Workshops, or Special Events. These one-day events have limited spaces, and we can only continue to operate the studio if these events are full and well attended.

 

Camp Refund Policy – Week long camps require a 2-month advance notice of withdrawal in order to be eligible for a full refund, or credit. At least 1-month notice of withdrawal is required for a 50% refund. Under 1 month, no refund or credit will be possible. Refunds and credits must be requested in writing via email. It may be possible to transfer you based on availability.

Illness Policy - If a student is sick or has a contagious disease, please do not come to class. Students presenting symptoms of illness will be isolated and sent home. Instructors, assistants and other studio costs must be paid no matter the attendance. For classes ONLY, we offer can offer you a make-up class. We will give you a few possible dates and times, if you cannot also attend those make-up dates, no additional accomodation will be made.

Party Reservation Policy - Party reservations are not confirmed until we receive a $150 deposit which is non-refundable. At that time, we book staff and begin to order supplies. If you cancel your party, there will be no refund or credit given. We can reschedule a party ONCE for free, but additional rescheduling comes with a fee.

Walk-ins - Walk-ins are permitted only for Walk-In/Open Studio and events that indicate walk-ins are welcome. We may be able to accommodate walk-ins for programs. Space and materials are limited.

 

Designate Art Clothes – Plan to get Messy - Part of  the fun of making art is getting messy! Please make sure that you (or your child) is dressed in clothing that can get messy. We use smocks on a limited basis because they only cover part of the clothing and can impede freedom of movement and can be uncomfortable. It is best if you designate art clothes.

 

Waiver, Photo Release and Emergency Contact Forms - Before the start of each class/camp, students must fill out a Waiver/Photo Release/Emergency Contact Forms. Students cannot participate without completed forms. 

 

Cancellation of Class for the Semester - Art XO Studio/XO Lounge reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In the case of a cancellation, the full amount paid for the class will be refunded. If the class has already begun, a prorated amount based on the number of classes held will be granted.

 

Cancellation of Program due to Weather or Other Cause - If a class must be cancelled due to an unforeseen circumstance, you will be contacted via text or email as soon as possible and at least 1 hour prior to class. Cancelled classes will be rescheduled at the end of the semester or, if that is not possible, a credit will be issued for the next semester. There will be no refunds for classes cancelled due to bad weather.
